Chien Wong

Founding Partner

Before founding Envolve Group, Chien was the Senior Vice President of an angel investment fund under TAL Education Group (NASDAQ: TAL) and the Head of Shanghai Office, undertaking investments and portfolio managements of 16 companies.

Chien also founded Embark, which provided world-class scientific research education for outstanding high school and college students, and was later acquired by a public company.

Prior to TAL, Chien served as an investment manager at Ether Capital, leading the financing of 5 companies.

Chien studied at University College London (UCL) and the University of British Columbia (UBC), majoring in cognitive neuroscience.

Matt Hu

Investment Mananger

Matt is good at restoring the authentic story behind data. He is responsible for producing actionable research, advancing key projects, and evaluating investment opportunities.

Before joining Envolve Group, Zhiqi worked at Tencent and several venture capitals. Before that, he obtained a bachelor's degree in both China and France.

Apart from that, he's a BJJ player, a yogee and he also practices Capoeira.

Amy Liu

Operating Director

Amy is the operating director and business support at Envolve Group. She is a generalist who can handle multiple tasks efficiently at the same time. She is responsible for investor relations and operations function. She also provides support employee relations, retention, compensation and payroll.

She holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in management from East China Normal University. She loves nature and sports and has participated in different cross-country and marathon events.

Meghan Li

Meghan is passionate about investment and began investing in high school. She is curious about investment and the world and keeps learning by challenging others by asking great questions. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys solving complex problems. She graduated from the University of Chicago with a Master's degree in Public Policy.

Meghan ever did Skydiving in Cancun and enjoyed hiking to mountains off the beaten track. She is a risk-taker, enjoying exploring unconventional areas and investment strategies.

Sofia Song

Research & Content Manager

Sofia is adept at cross-language study and creation. She takes charge of asset research, part of operation and designing works.

When she completed her BA degree in Hong Kong, Sofia sojourned several months in Europe and North America, producing a collection of essays and artwork albums for five cities.
